CONCERTO COMPETITION

Eligibility

• For all instruments* (piano, strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion, voice and ensemble)  *Contact us for approval of repertoire before submitting  your application

• Ages 5-22

      Elementary I: Ages 5-8

      Elementary II: Ages 9-11

      Junior I: Ages 12-14

      Junior II: Ages 15-17

      Senior: Ages 18-22

Application

• Application Deadline: January 6, 2027 for both Live & YouTube auditions

• Applicants may choose the YouTube audition if unavailable to attend a Live Audition.

YouTube Audition Participants

• Application Deadline: January 6, 2027.
  You must submit your application by January 6, 2027, even if your YouTube audition video is not ready yet.

• YouTube Video Submission:
  • You may submit your YouTube link with your application by January 6, 2027, OR
  • If your video is not ready by January 6, you may email the YouTube link separately to info@caicompetition.org by February 3, 2027.

• Concerto Single Performer Fee $280

• Concerto Two or More Performer Fee $140 per member

• Age of the eldest member will determine the division.

• Any combination UP TO 4 PEOPLE per group

• Late Application Deadline: January 13, 2027

• Late Application Fee additional $50

• ALL FEES ARE NON REFUNDABLE

• The first-place concerto competition winners are obligated to maintain their availability on March 12th, Friday, from 6 to 10 pm for orchestra rehearsal and on March 13th, Saturday, from 5 to 10 pm for the dress rehearsal and concert. No excuses will be permitted.

Audition

• On FEBRUARY 6-7, 2027

• NV HALL at NV FACTORY: 400 Sylvan Ave. STE #100, Englewood Cliffs, NJ 07632

• Individual times will be notified through e-mail two weeks prior to the audition dates. 

• Under any circumstances, there is NO CHANGING of a piece from the live audition/YouTube to the recital(s).

• Audition results will be announced through our website on February 13, 2027.

• The judges’ decisions are final.
